Getting There
The Kalkscheune is situated in the heart of Berlin, right near the U-Bahn station “Oranienburger Tor”.

Coming by car:
Whichever direction you are coming from, drive towards the Berlin ring road, the A10. The second motorway ring road is Berlin’s inner “city ring”, the A100.
Guests from Hamburg
First drive in the direction of “Reinickendorf”, then continue towards “Charlottenburg” and take the exit for “Kaiserdamm”. Here, turn left into Knobelsdorffstraße, then immediately right into Sophie-Charlotten-Straße, and then left at the next traffic lights onto Kaiserdamm. Take the second exit at both roundabouts and you will see the Brandenburg Gate right in front of you.
Keep left (towards the Reichstag) and turn immediately right into Dorotheenstraße. Stay on Dorotheenstraße until the junction with Friedrichstraße, at which point turn left onto Friedrichstraße. After Friedrichstraße crosses the River Spree, you will see the legendary Friedrichstadtpalast on your right-hand side. Just after the Friedrichstadtpalast, turn right onto Johannisstraße.
From here you will already be able to see the Kalkscheune sign. The Kalkscheune is the building on the corner of Johannisstraße and Kalkscheunenstraße. Directly opposite the Kalkscheune there is a pay and display car park.
Coming from Hanover
Follow signs to “Berlin Zentrum”. At the Funkturm (Radio Tower), stay in the right-hand lane towards “Charlottenburg”, take the exit for “Kaiserdamm”, turn right onto Knobelsdorffstraße and continue as described above.
Guests from Dresden
At the “Treptow” junction, take the B179 towards “Treptow”. Follow the street past Treptower Park to the U-Bahn station “Schlesisches Tor”. Here, turn left and then, after approx. 3.0km right onto Leipziger Straße. Follow this road until the junction with Friedrichstraße and turn left onto Friedrichstraße. Then follow the directions above.
Please note that events and construction work in the centre of Berlin can often lead to rerouting.
