Jessica Stock is majoring in Sociology and Technology Studies, focusing on the sociology of technology and organisations. Her minor subject is Ergonomics. Between 2006 and 2009, Stock was tutoress at the chair for Sociology of Technology of the Technische Universität Berlin, where she also supported the editorial office of the review paper „Soziologische Revue".

Her diploma thesis focused on „Heterogeneous Cooperation". Jessica Stock is currently doing an internship at the VDI/VDE-IT in the Department for Society and Economy as part of her academic studies.
